No CNG buses in Lahore despite inauguration

LAHORE: Despite the inauguration, new comfortable air-conditioned CNG buses did not hit the roads here, Geo News reported Thursday.Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday inaugurated the first batch of 56 buses in the city that were scheduled to run on three different routes. But even after being advertised in the newspapers, the buses were not available on the decided routes and the commuters left after long wait.The drivers told that they resigned when they were told that they will be responsible for repairing of the vehicles in case of damage.
